My name is Jordan Harvey and I am the Quality and Compliance Manager at FiRST.

I have been lucky enough to work at FiRST for the last 11 years, working alongside the incredible owners Emma and Martin, building the business up to what you see today.

My background in the Early Childhood Education and Care Industry –

I have been working in Early Learning Centre’s since 2009, and was employed by Emma and Martin in 2011 when they FiRST opened the doors at Endeavour Hills.

I commenced as the full time Kinder assistant whilst I was completing my Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care. Once I had completed my Diploma, I moved to a lead role in the three year old room, then later onto a toddler Room Leader, which was when I was also promoted to 2IC.

I was overjoyed when I was offered the role of Centre Director, and thoroughly enjoyed leading my team and learning all about the management world in the Early Childhood industry.
After several years of Directing Endeavour Hills, I moved across to be the Centre Director at our Frankston South Centre, and later became an Area Director.

I have now had the honour of being FiRST’s Quality and Compliance Manager for 2 years, and love my role! For me, working in such a wonderful, supportive, professional, and fun environment is the reason I will be at FiRST forever.

My personal mission at FiRST –

I am proud to promote our home away from home environment, that focuses on ‘About Children, Being Children’ and building loving, trusting, and secure relationships with our children, families, and team.

My personal mission at FiRST is to provide warm, nurturing, and educational spaces for our Little Learners to thrive, with high quality practices and procedures to support everyone who walks through our door.

Whilst my current role is to primarily support our teams with their day to day practises and running of the Centres, there is nothing I love more than getting cuddles from our Little Learners and having the opportunity to connect with families.
