Childcare Centre Hastings

Hi, my name is Beau. I am a devoted and passionate Early Years professional with extensive experience in leadership and Early Childhood Education and Care. I have studied towards both Early Childhood and Primary Education at Deakin University and have strengths and special interests in the Reggio Emilia Approach, educating through the Creative Arts, Play Therapy and Trauma Informed Practice.

As the Centre Director here at FiRST Early Learning Hastings, my main goal is to provide a nurturing and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. I am passionate about creating spaces that are welcoming, friendly and a reflection of the children and families at the centre. My own children were my inspiration to follow a career in education and my experiences as a parent guide my interactions with families, I know firsthand how daunting those first days of care can be as a parent!

I chose to work in the Early Years profession as I believe that high quality education has the power to make a difference in the lives of children and families. I believe that all children are powerful and competent learners who are capable of constructing their own learning and I am dedicated to creating inclusive environments where all children feel accepted, safe and supported on their learning journey. I take pride in inspiring our teachers and educators to extend on children’s interests by creating learning experiences that provoke wonder and curiosity.
