Kerry Foster

Our Centre Director

My name is Kerry Foster and I am the Centre Director at FiRST Early Learning, Frankston South.

I have worked in the Early Childhood industry for over 20 years, six of those years working for Yooralla supporting children with disabilities in pre-school settings. I have my Advanced Diploma in community sector management and my Diploma in Early Childhood Education.

I have a passion for nurturing and supporting children to be the best they can be. I believe in establishing partnerships with families and working together to make their Early Education experience a positive one!

Part of my role as a Centre Director is to ensure we provide quality educational programs facilitated by highly passionate and dedicated educators. I am committed to providing a safe and engaging Centre that welcomes all children and families.  I provide an inclusive environment that celebrates the different cultures and beliefs of our families, encouraging families to share their cultures and traditions with us and each other.

FIRST provides such a family feel, whether you are an employee or family attending our centre you are important! What better place to be!

We provide early learning & care to these groups:

Nursery 0-2 Years
Toddler 2-4 Years
Kindergarten 3-6 Years

Our Centre

We are perfectly located in Frankston south with close proximity to Frankston foreshore, PARC recreation centre and shopping complex.

Our centre opened in 2017, the site was originally a play centre. First was beautifully created and designed by our dedicated and committed board of directors with the desire and goal to deliver and provide the inspiring play spaces, stunning established gardens that promote adventure, discovery and learning. Our centre is complete with water tanks, sand and mud pits, swings, sensory gardens, trees and plants for risky, unhurried, uninterrupted play and development.

First early learning is a home away form home for 102 children per day with 6 purpose built classrooms.
